The moon was barely cresting the horizon just an hour after sundown. Most students were up in their rooms, studying or preparing for bed- Kurogane was not part of this 'many.' He was out on the grounds, in an empty courtyard. If one were to happen upon him, the would see mere flashes of silver as he swung a sharpened katana with practiced skill.

He had been out here before the sun had set, and he planned to be out here for far longer. Since coming to this university, he had neglected his training for one reason or another. Now he was finally settled on this damned campus, and he planned on catching up on that missed training. The only thing that could make this easier and a bit more interesting would be someone to fight.

Hn. There isn't much to say about this place yet. I haven't gone out on the ground more than necessary. I haven't seen the mage around either...I'm not sure if it is worth looking for him yet, considering with our luck I'll run into him sooner or later anyway.

I should plan to explore the surrounding area more- better to know where you are than to get lost. Maybe tomorrow...
